St Andrew's, Anderby
Rectory Road, PE24 5YF · ///laser.cleansed.frames
St Andrew's is a lovely small church located at the south end of the village, in its churchyard, about a mile from the A52 junction. A regular congregation of 5–10 meets for worship each Sunday at 9.00am, with services in modern language — Communion or Morning Worship led by a Lay Minister. Singing is sometimes accompanied by our harmonium. Everyone is most welcome, and from time to time we hold special services as advertised on our Diary page.
St Andrew's has toilet facilities and is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We have recently installed a new heating system with heated seats for the whole congregation.
Various parish social events take place in Anderby Village Hall. In addition to the churchyard around St Andrew's, there is a small extension on the opposite side of Rectory Road, as well as a cemetery (run by Anderby Town Council) where most burials now take place.
