St Clement's, Sutton on Sea
The “Church with the wonky tower”
Junction of Huttoft Road & Church Lane, LN12 2JB · ///rail.winds.gifts
St Clement's sits in its extensive churchyard on the south side of Sutton on the A52. A regular congregation of 15–20 meets for worship each Sunday at 10.30am, with services in modern language — Communion or Morning Worship led by a Lay Minister. Singing is led by a rather nice two-manual organ or a piano, or else accompanied by a digibox. Refreshments are served after most services in the north transept.
There is a toilet, a small car park on Church Lane, and further on-street parking is available nearby. Everyone is most welcome to all our services.
There is a well-equipped church hall next door, available for hire — see our St Clement's Hall page. The parish is still occasionally called by its old name, Sutton le Marsh; the even older title, Sutton in Marisco, will be found in historical sources.
